CIRCULAR 6/02/2008

 Dear Parents 

1.            KING’S KIDS 

                We have a club at school called King’s Kids.   

§                 This is a Christian gathering on Tuesdays during 1^st break.  We sing, praise and receive an

encouraging message. 

§                 During the 4^th term we camp at “The Hoekie”, close to Brits(Hartebeespoortdam). 

                             Please encourage your child to join us! 

2.             CULTURE 

Closing date for Vereeniging Art Festival for art and dance is 13 March 2008.  Drama entries close

in the 2^nd quarter.

3.               CHESS 

Congratulations to our team who did exceptionally well in the tournament at the Volkskool on

29 February 2008: 

-          Arenda De Koster        :       1^st place

-          Karel De Koster           :       1^st place

-          Richard Coetzer           :       2^nd place

-          Willem Zuidersma      :       3^rd place

-      Kobus De Koster         :       3^rd place 

The rest of the team will participate in a tournament on 14 and 15 March 2008.  Good luck! 

4.               DOUGHNUT SALE :  NETBALL TEAM 

Thank u for your support with the doughnut sale!  There will be doughnuts for sale again this

Friday, to raise money for the netball clinic.

5.             MAGAZINES 

                We would like to request parents again to please donate any old Afrikaans and English magazines to

Mrs Elsabé Fourie at our school.  We really appreciate your support!  

6.            VELD SCHOOL – GRADE 7  

                It is once again time for the Grade 7 Veld School!  This year they are going to “Maraneman Adventures”

                in the Oranjeville area from 11 – 14 March 2008.
